The Course of Change and Development of Gongliao Junior High School

The government implemented national education for nine years and prepared to establish this school in the 57th year of the Republic of China . At that time, the president of 雙溪 junior high school was the director. Local people was enthusiastic and donate school. Because the project of school building calls for bid several times, no people interested in it. Therefore, we postponed the operation to the beginning on June 1 in the same year. We borrowed the classroom from Gongliao elementary school to support the new students to have class. The school building was completed to February of 58th year. We started to move back to this school and have a class.

The school is expanding the classroom afterwards, construct and make the waterproof leak protection of classroom roof, the project of upgrading the aluminum doors and windows, rebuilding the  stadium, drainage system, flower nursery, pavement, indoor playground, and teacher's dormitory ... etc. We starts to have abundant campus today.

This school increased the skill center in the 83rd year. We set up the practical electrical machinery class, cosmetology class and computer classroom, the effect is apparent, several dozen students recommend to high school or professorship of 基隆 for admission to school every year. We increased the night class of junior high school in 澳底 in the 85th year.

This school lies in the village of Gongliao. The blue mountains and green waters, quiet and graceful all around. The first president, 蔣公 lengthen national compulsory education to nine in the 57th year. Local people donate the ground and government donate and set up school. In the same year, Gongliao junior high school is established here.

Recall forefathers, hack their way through all difficulties, they brick first stone fill out and spread campus. Having overcome countless difficulties, and manage miserably.

The symbol of Kung Liao Junior-High-School

The symbol which is designed by Mr. Huang Huai-Lin and is used since 2001 is based on the letters-K and L. It is like a bird flying in the green sky.
The green circle represents the school environment, also represents health, pliability and perfection. The color white is chastity, brightness and peace. The wings are like the growing saplings which are hold by the teachers and have a fine future. People can feel active and energetic from the symbol.
